Lightning protection, designed before it's built.

Our in-house engineering team produces customized direct-strike lightning protection using both ESE (Early Streamer Emission) methodology to NF C 17-102 and Conventional methodology to NFPA 780, validated by a full risk assessment to local and international standards, before a single bolt is set.

A grounding system is only as good as its measured resistance to earth. Energynet runs both Fall-of-Potential and Clamp-On testing on site, then issues an engineer-signed report with the figures, the method, and a pass/fail against your facility's required threshold — the peace of mind of knowing you're truly protected.

Soil resistivity, footprint, equipment count — every site grounds differently. Energynet's in-house design service produces a system tailored to your facility's electrical load and soil profile, then installs and commissions it to the target resistance-to-earth.

Lightning protection and grounding installations degrade quietly: bolts loosen, conductors corrode, soil dries out, resistance climbs. Our preventive maintenance program inspects, tests, and re-certifies your existing systems — even if we didn't install them — so you keep the protection you paid for.

Yes — this is one of our most common engagements. We start with a takeover inspection (audit drawings, continuity, ground resistance, corrosion check), then move the system onto our annual PM schedule with full documentation.
A conventional Franklin rod relies on geometry alone. ESE (Early Streamer Emission) is engineered to release an upward leader earlier, enlarging the protected volume from a single mast. Both can be valid — we pick based on the structure, the risk assessment, and the standard your facility designs to.
For live installations, Clamp-On testing measures loop resistance without disconnecting the earth conductor. For new installs or where geometry allows, we use Fall-of-Potential per IEEE 81. We'll choose the right method on the survey call.
IEC 62305 and NFPA 780 for lightning protection, the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) for installation, and IEEE 81 for ground resistance measurement. We can also align to client-specific corporate standards on request.
