SEVENTY YEARS OFINNOVATION

Energynet is the exclusive partner of Indelec — the manufacturer that introduced the Early Streamer Emission Prevectron® air terminal in the early 1980s and has filed new patents every year since. This is the R&D track behind every system we specify locally.

§ 01 · The lineage

Specialised in lightning protection — since 1955.

"Indelec introduced the Early Streamer Emission Prevectron® air terminal in the early 1980s. It became the principal LPS technology alongside the Meshed Cage. Energynet brings that engineering to Philippine sites — fully certified, locally installed, locally supported."

The technical lineage behind every Energynet installation is seven decades deep. Indelec has manufactured and installed lightning protection systems since 1955, and introduced the Prevectron® ESE air terminal in the early 1980s — a revolutionary topology that became the principal LPS technology alongside the conventional Meshed Cage design.

Indelec files new patent applications every year and is now pioneering the integration of communication technologies into lightning protection systems — strike-counting, telemetry, and remote diagnostics built directly into the air terminal.

Energynet is the Philippine partner for that programme. We engineer to the same standard, install to the same audited methodology, and back every system with the same Bureau Veritas certification trail. This page is what's behind that signature.

§ 02 04 pillars

Four pillars of the programme.

Indelec's R&D is organised around four compounding tracks — the Prevectron® ESE air terminal family, the integration of communication technologies into LPS, real-strike test campaigns since 1993, and a fully certified product line audited by Bureau Veritas. Energynet specifies and installs the output of all four.

Pillar 01Hardware

Prevectron® ESE air terminals — the technology that defined the category.

Introduced by Indelec in the early 1980s, the Early Streamer Emission Prevectron® air terminal became the principal LPS technology alongside the conventional Meshed Cage — a revolutionary topology that Energynet specifies on Philippine projects today.

Communication technologies, integrated into the LPS itself.

Indelec is now pioneering the integration of new communication technologies into lightning protection systems — air terminals that count strikes, log peak current, and report system health back to the operator. The next-generation LPS asset class.

Pillar 03Field

Real-strike test campaigns — in the field, since 1993.

Beyond the unique Indelec High Voltage Laboratory, every product line passes through a real lightning test campaign. Florida, Japan, Brazil and — most recently — Indonesia, one of the most lightning-prone regions on earth. Every Prevectron® benefits from in-situ validation.

Pillar 04Standards

Fully certified — by an independent third-party auditor.

The full range of products is certified by Bureau Veritas: ISO 9001 for the quality system, and the lightning air terminal tests in compliance with NF C 17-102 : 2011 Annex C. These review and certification processes guarantee both manufacture and installation quality.

§ 03 Flagship technology

The Prevectron® air terminal, now connected.

Indelec's current R&D track integrates communication technologies directly into the LPS itself — the Prevectron® air terminal augmented with strike counting, current-peak logging, and remote diagnostics. The system tells the operator when a strike has occurred, how big it was, and whether the protection still measures sound.

Prevectron® · connected variant · patent filings ongoing

A protection asset with an audit log.

The next generation of the Prevectron® range integrates communication electronics directly into the air terminal. Every strike is logged with peak current and timestamp; system health is reported back to the operator without sending a technician up the mast.

Strike counting with peak-current logging
Every event recorded with timestamp and magnitude — no guessing whether the system did its job.
Remote system-health diagnostics
Continuous self-check on the ionisation module; condition reported back over a low-power radio link.
Patent-protected ionisation module
The Prevectron® ESE topology that defined the category in the 1980s — backed by new patents filed every year.
Insurer-grade strike log, exportable
PDF and CSV exports of every event — useful for insurance claims, post-incident review, and tenant SLAs.
§ 04 Test programme

Real lightning testing, on four continents.

Besides Indelec's unique High Voltage Laboratory, the programme has invested heavily in real lightning test campaigns since 1993 — Florida, Japan, Brazil, and a new site in Indonesia, one of the most lightning-prone regions in the world. Every Prevectron® product development benefits from this in-situ validation.

1993

Indelec High Voltage Laboratory

Unique in-house HV laboratory comes online. Becomes the baseline calibration bench for every Prevectron® product release — the reference against which subsequent field campaigns are measured.

South American programme captures high-altitude strike data; sustained continuing-current performance and electrode-degradation studies feed back into the next product revision.

What's on the bench now.

Indelec files new patent applications every year. These are three of the active research tracks shaping the next Prevectron® release — because most specifiers want to know what they'll be able to specify in eighteen months, not just what's shipping today.
